  • Design and develop teaching and learning environments that emphasize active learning and incorporate appropriate instructional technologies.

Bristol Mountain Winter Resort / Roseland Waterpark, Canandaigua, NY (2006-2009) -
Director of Marketing and Sales

  • Responsible for design concepts, creation, production and scheduling of all marketing related materials including: brochures, presentations, posters, TV, radio, print advertising, trade show displays and internet content for all major markets within a five hour radius.
  • Responsible for all sales of all day to day products through marketing and advertising support as well as for all group sales products including day trips/field trips, destination groups, multi-week school snowsports clubs, college groups (accredited and non-accredited), and corporate.
  • Responsible for staffing and management of twenty-two people throughout the ticket selling and guest services counters, dealing with day to day sales as well as in depth customer issues.
  • Responsible for educating all groups in skiing and snowboarding safety prior to visiting Bristol Mountain through the use of in person presentations and hands on displays as well as through literature handouts and website content.
  • Created, implemented and presented educational tours to local middle schools in regards to water park safety, life guard and employment preparations, environmental awareness, math, chemistry, and sciences as they applied to all areas of operations at Roseland Waterpark.

Bristol Valley Theater, Naples, NY (2002-2006) - Managing Director

  • Responsible for personally creating, producing and distributing all marketing and publicity related items, including but not limited to website content, press releases, print advertising, television advertising and radio advertising.(i.e. voiceovers, write, perform & record original music)
  • Responsible for advertising solicitation for annual program book as well as for its layout, creation, production and distribution.
  • Responsible for all financial bookkeeping, all accounts payable, all accounts receivable, all payroll, management of all bank accounts, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and reconciliations.
  • Responsible for all NYS and Federal Government Human Resources related paperwork as it applies to employee acquisition and employment termination.

Rochester Broadway Theatre League, Rochester, NY (1985-2002) - Operations Coordinator

  • Managed all operations of the Finger Lakes Performing Arts center, a 16,000+ capacity amphitheatre and the Auditorium Theatre, a 2500+ capacity “Road House”, including but not limited to, Security, Maintenance, Merchandising, Front of House Staff, Parking, and Backstage Catering.
  • Directed the hiring process of 200+ seasonal employees and developed and implemented employee policies, handbook, training, and staff identification.
  • Direct liaison with touring entertainment personnel, and the Local I.A.T.S.E. #25, Stage Hand Union, as well as the Local #858 Wardrobe Union.
  • Promoter’s Representative at the: Auditorium Theater, Eastman Theatre, War Memorial at the Blue Cross Arena, and Lilac Festival.
  • Production Assistant for outdoor events at Silver Stadium, Rochester, NY, Batavia Downs, Batavia, NY, Rochester MusicFest, Rochester, NY, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1995 Ryder Cup Matches at Oak Hill Country Club, Rochester, NY, and the opening ceremonies of Frontier Field, Rochester, NY.
  • Coordinated / booked the talent for local events, such as opening and closing ceremonies, galas, dinners, auctions, conventions, and side stage events at the FLPAC which included local and regional acts.
  • Developed and implemented an internship program between Rochester Broadway Theatre League/ Finger Lakes Performing Arts Center and Finger Lakes Community College, in order to provide video services including (3) cameras, director, switcher for the enjoyment of lawn patrons at the Finger Lakes Performing Arts Center.
